Dear Visitor,

The Komfort Kwillow™ grew out of a combined passion to raise critically needed program funding for a non-profit foundation serving neurobiologically challenged children and my learning to sew as a way to relax after serving a community in need.

Komfort Kwillow™ has had a few iterations.  Originally, it was a simple fleece blanket modeled in shape and context after the beautifully handcrafted Amish quillows. In this first form, about 500 Komfort Kwillows™ were handmade and sold at art shows, craft fairs and festivals in and around Los Angeles.  Eventually, it found itself into specialty boutiques around the country with a snappier, sexier and more captivating facade.  The heart of the quillow, however, remains the same ... that a portion of the sale of each and every Komfort Kwillow™ goes to children's charities.  It's a wonderful gift to give yourself or others who might enjoy a cozy hug and it's a precious gift to selected organizations helping children in need.
